The original room was a standard builder-grade laundry space, side-by-side top-load machines, basic utility sink, vinyl floor, and no dedicated storage. Everything was stripped back to studs.
Framing was reworked to carve out a tiled dog wash station along one wall. New plumbing was run for a wall-mounted hand shower with hot and cold supply, and the shower was waterproofed and sloped to a linear drain running along the back. The shower floor is finished in black hexagon mosaic with matching black grout; walls are clad in navy blue beveled glass subway tile stacked horizontally for contrast against the wood-grain cabinetry.
The main work wall holds a custom white oak laundry cabinet with a deep undermount stainless steel utility sink set into a honed dark stone countertop. A matte black pull-down faucet runs from a single-hole rough-in. Upper cabinets extend to the ceiling for storage, and a small window was retained and trimmed in a clean casing.
The stacked wash tower sits in its own full-height cabinet bay, flanked by upper storage above the unit so the appliance reads as built-in rather than free-standing. Flooring is a dark large-format porcelain tile, carried continuously under the wash station and around the machines. Lighting is recessed LED throughout, with the exhaust fan tied into the existing ventilation run.
